n=6 met at the appointed time and despite waiting for another few minutes that's the number we were. The sky had a few fluffy clouds on offer so that the urban glow reflected and we never needed headtorches, even on the paths without electric or gas lights. The air was cold but without any wind, so it felt quite comfortable (with the right type of clothing).
We started by following the Gaslights Walk route, i.e. via the Park Police Station, then headed towards the bright lights of the Winter Wonderland, which looks quite striking from distance in fact, took quiet paths thereafter whenever possible and reached Whitehall at 8 o'clock.
As per usual, The Clarence had a table upstairs (just) where all 6 (plus the partner of one the walkers, straight out of the office and also a SWCee) sat for quite a while (only one member of stuff was tending to both rooms upstairs AND also pouring the drinks at the bar).
A very fine evening out. w=cold-with-fluffy-clouds-reflecting-the-bright-lights-of-the-city
