This is a walk of big fields and big skies. There are no hills - just flat fenland.  Although featureless in places, the walk never lacks interest. We stop for lunch some 5 miles into the walk in the village of Stretham at the Red Lion pub. 

After lunch it is more of the same - big fields and big skies, now with the magnificent Ely Cathedral dominating the skyline. A visit to the Cathedral at walk-end is de rigueur.
