Alternative walk, Goring Circular via Hill Bottom
Paddington train 10.08
https://www.walkingclub.org.uk/walk/goring-circular-via-hill-bottom/
After a morning of cancellations and delays too ghastly to detail, n=7 did the alternative walk in w=cloudy_with_a_cool-northerly_breeze weather.
2 others set off for Kingham an hour late.
Those who persevered and started walking from Goring around midday were rewarded with a most enjoyable walk, rounded off for 5 by a drink in the Catherine Wheel before the 1651 train (best not to mention it was also a bit late). Group cohesion was excellent. Many thanks to Gouldman for conjuring up a short-notice reserve walk and persisting with it despite the adverse travel situation.
