Tired of reading pages of detailed walk directions? Here is your
solution: just follow the well waymarked North Downs Way along one of its
better stretches (but do expect some road noise in the early stages), with just
minimal directions to hand, found here.
Lunch: Botley
Hill Farmhouse in Botley Hill (10.2 km/6.3 mi, food to
15.00). This appears to be fully booked online, so be prepared for picnic
lunch.
Tea: a couple of pubs in Knockholt Pound about
4 km from the end and another one, a little closer and a little
off-route, in Halstead.

not fully booked at all, the pub: no avails for larger groups, but tables for two in almost all time slots. assume 12.45 arrival...
N=5 on the walk, with 2 lunching (12.45 booking) and 3 walking on. The lunchers arrived at Knockholt Station at 16.55. The weather was w=warm-and-sunny, with very fine far views.
