This is a lovely walk through rural Hampshire visiting Gilbert White's home in Selborne with the lunch pub the Selborne Arms and Jane Austen's home for the last 8 years of her life in Chawton.

N=10 It were w=sunny all day Generally agreed to be a pretty walk with lots of greenery, big trees and even little lambies.
Mr Tiger last did this walk exactly a year ago and remembered a field full of dogs on a Dogs Day Out” . Guess what, readers. They were there again today, Dogs. On a day out.
In Selborne, a few went the tea shop.but most to the Selborne Arms, where a long wait for food ensued. When it arrived, it was said to be good. Mr Tiger contented himself with a pint and a half of Comfortably Numb. (S’beer, innit)
Then it was up the wretched Zig Zag. “Only five” someone said.. “At least 12” said another. Mr Tiger counted 28.
Then on, eventually stopping at The Greyfriars in. Chawton.
Then on. Most caught the 18:15. Not Mr Tiger, though who just missed it by a whisker.
