I am not sure if anyone did this walk when it was last posted — but this is the time of year for it when the lavender fields at Castle Farm are in full bloom. We have part of it as an evening walk at this time of year and fields are awash in deep purple.
This walk consists of two loops around the attractive Kent village of Shoreham , nestling in the valley carved out of the North Downs by the River Darent. There is a good mix of woodland and open countryside with some fine views from the steep-sided hills overlooking the valley, interspersed with easier stretches along the valley floor. More in formation and the walk instructions can be found here

Three on 11.08 but not walking with group, none on 11.10 but rumour of earlier starters. Taking short cut to Otford to catch them?
