Lunch is in Godstone which has three pubs around the village green and a cafe

The Hare & Hounds (01883-742296) serves typical pub food;

White Hart (01883-742521) more upmarket and so is

The Bell Inn (01883-743216).

Light lunches are also available at Blossoms Brunch & Coffee (01883-818330) opposite the Hare & Hounds,

Plenty of tea options in Oxted

There is a short walk (7 miles) missing out Godstone (and so lunch) if you want to be home early.

#6 people enjoyed this scenic walk with plenty of autumn leaves on the ground and more colours starting to come through on the trees. Despite the uncertain weather forecast, we had a dry day, apart from a lunctime shower when we were conveniently in the pub, #sun_in_the_morning_a_shower_at_lunchtime_then_dry. A nice day out.
