Train: Take the 9:21 train from London Victoria, arriving in Hurst Green at 10:03. Return trains from Penshurst Station at xx:34 to London Victoria via Redhill and xx:43 to London Charing Cross via Tonbridge. Buy a day-return to Penshurst.

This is a lovely walk along parts of the Greensand Way. At this time of year, there should be plenty of bluebells near the start and around Ide Hill.  For more information on the walk and its instructions and gpx, click here.

Lunch is at the Cock Inn in Ide Hill (being a Sunday -- probably wise to call ahead and book a table) and tea is conveniently just next to Penshurst Station at the Little Brown Jug.
