Length: 5.0 km (3.1 mi)
Net Walking Time: 1 ½ hrs
Meet: Regent’s Park tube station at 18.15 hours. Regent’s Park is on the Bakerloo line in Zone 1.
Finish : Chalk Farm or Camden Town stations, which are on the Northern Line and in Zone 2.
A stroll through Regent's Park, including a check on this year’s offerings of Frieze Art Fair’s Sculpture Park (22 artists) and along the Grand Union Canal, to then climb Primrose Hill for fine views over London.
Regent’s Park closes at 20.00, which leaves plenty of time for dawdling after a good look at the sculptures. "Primrose Hill has no usual closing times” (source: Royal Parks website).

4 walkers met at the tube station, knowing that a 5th was running late, so initially waited for him but then moved on anyway when there was no sign of him (alhough he later caught up). Some others were encountered in the park, having started there. All in, we were n=9 on a w=cold evening.
There was just about enough time to look at all the sculptures in decent light (this year there are more than ever before).
On then through Regents Park, with briefly a fine sunset visible to the west. The group somehow split and only reconvened on the top of Primrose Hill. 3 then left home from there, while 6 took refuge in The Princess of Wales for food, and then stopped at The Pembroke as well, for one last drink before taking the tube from Chalk Farm.
