#2 off the train; my companion took the standard shorter walk and thus we went out separate ways mid morning. Of the three Deddington pubs The Unicorn is shut for refurbishment and happily the long closed Red Lion has now reopened. Afternoon went off route exploring a possible variation which came to nothing as no anticipated locals route to link up paths, so back tracked somewhat making it 20 miles or so. #Mostly-sunny-with-occasional-cloud-cover
