Length: 5.0 km (3.1 mi)
Net Walking Time: 1 ½ hrs
Meet: Regent’s Park tube station at 18.30 hours. Regent’s Park is on the Bakerloo line in Zone 1.
Finish: Chalk Farm station, which is on the Northern line in Zone 2.
A stroll through Regent's Park, including a check on this year’s offerings of Frieze Art Fair’s Sculpture Park (19 sculptures) and along the Grand Union Canal, to then climb Primrose Hill for fine views over London. Regent’s Park closes at 20.00, which leaves plenty of time for dawdling after a good look at the sculptures. "Primrose Hill has no usual closing times” (source: Royal Parks website).

Regents Park Sculpture: #4 at start of walk and weather was #cloudy-followed-by-darkness. We met up just inside the gates of the park, and all had a good look at the sculptures. One then left, and three of us completed (or tried to complete the walk). As happened a few years ago, we couldn't follow the official route to Camden canal due to security guards and fencing, in anticipation of Pres Biden's visit. We did walk the canal, walked up to Primrose Hill view point and admired the city below, then down to Princess of Wales for drinks and eats. Very enjoyable.
