Alternatively, you could take the 10.08 from Victoria; 10.15 Clapham J.;10.26 E Croydon; 10.32 Purley; 10.36 Coulsden Sth; 10.46 Redhill. This gives you more time to do the transfer onto the 11am train in Redhill
#9 left the train at Edenbridge, and one more joined for part of the walk around Chartwell, so #10. #mild-with-some-sun later. Mud on paths, mud around stiles and gates and fields that looked grassy turned out to be waterlogged and muddy. But lots of signs of spring - snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils. 7 had ate at the Chartwell House cafe, 3 skipped it and headed straight to Westerham. I think 5 of us carried on via Toys Hill and the Chart - the woods were slightly less muddy. The Bromley bus (which starts off well up the A233 but then visits a number of housing estates on the way into Bromley) was due and we all decided to head home and out of muddy clothes.
