Friday 27th June 2025: After arriving (approx. 1.30pm) in Axminster, walk from the station to Lyme Regis.
Distance: 6.6 miles
approx.
Toughness: Mainly across fields, and through woodlands,
and alongside streams.

Take the bus to Lyme Regis
on First Bus X51/X53 (takes about 30 minutes).
Saturday 28th June 2025
Bus to Seaton to do a
circular walk from Seaton via Beer to Branscombe along the coast, and return to
Seaton via inland route.
Travel: 378 Bus from Lyme Regis to Seaton.
Length of walk: 8.6 miles
Sunday 29th June 2025: Coastal walk
Circular walk from Lyme
Regis via the Golden Cap. Full details including
GPX track will be provided
Distance: 11.5 miles
Toughness: Undulating
coastal walk.
West Bay Option: walk from Lyme Regis as above, to the Golden Cap and
continue on to West Bay.
Distance (from Lyme to
West Bay): 10.3 miles
Toughness: Strenuous as it involves several climbs
Return to Lyme by bus. Full details to be provided.
Monday 30th June 2025
Walk back to Axminster
along a different route from Friday (or take the bus)
Most of the route will be
along the Monarch Way, and part of the Wessex Ridgeway
Distance: 11.9 miles

Return Trains from Axminster Station.

Train tickets from London Waterloo to Axminster now available. Recommended train is the 10.20am arriving at Axminster 13.02. For those who are not walking to Lyme Regis, bus X51 leaves from the station forecourt to Lyme Regis. Up to date Timetable will be posted in May when it's published.
