Great Portland Street Tube Station (Circle/Hammersmith & City/Metropolitan Lines) is about 200 metres east of Regents Park Tube if that suits better.
16 met at regents pk station at the alloted time, 1 other caught up with the group after a few minutes, so n=17 in w=fine-late-summer-evening-weather.
reactions to the 23 sculptures dotted close to each other around the 'English Garden' section of Regents Pk ranged from 'I liked one of them' to 'I liked almost all of them', as they should.
on through the park and along the canal, with some grand cloudscapes, then up to primrose hill, mid-dusk. after a long period of guessing which distant building was which, we descended towards the pub destination, only to then not trust our judgement upon leaving the park (we thought we were in the wrong place, when we weren't) and took a wrong turning. off to another pub then, where 15 of us took tables to then order food, only to find that after a few had ordered theirs, the chef had had enough and closed the kitchen! cue more drinks...
