Christmas Party

Come and join us to celebrate another year of wonderful walks and to say thanks to the web master and walk posters who worked very hard to make this possible.

This year's Christmas Party will be held at the upstairs function room at The Ship from 6:30pm. The nearest tube station is Borough. It is a short walk from London Bridge. There will be some nibbles but you are encouraged to have dinner here as the manager has waived the charge imposed by the head office on goodwill. Food from this menu is served till 9pm. Burgers/Fish & Chips are £6 on Wednesdays.

Merry Christmas!

Now I might go to the Christmas Party. But I can't Guarantee I will. But I am just wondering. How much will the food cost. And what time will the Party finish?

Menu is attached - so pick your fancy. Nibbles are free. We have the function room whole night, so you can party to your heart content...till the pub throws you out.

Function room cosy but cramped if decent turn out. Come early if you want to eat sitting down. Good food. Thanks to Lucilla for organising, and to all walk setters for their voluntary work this walking year.

Sorry I won't be able to make it. Have a jolly time.

I hope to be at the party at 6:30 to get the nibbles ready for the party. However, I may be delayed by the month long delay at Piccadilly line. So apologies and thank you for your patience. Lucilla

I made it to the Christmas Party. Despite we had to get our own Meal. We got a bit of Party food. And approximately over 30 people turned up on the night. We were having a chat etc. And it was very and good company. Now I like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

Many thanks to all the posters for their great efforts this year to make the walks happen and both interesting and enjoyable. A very Happy Christmas and New Year to you all. Apologies for not making it to the drinks due to birthday skating with one son followed by birthday supper with twin sons and daughter.
