Brief Description
An enchanting walk which starts in Hogsmeade High Street passing the Three Broomsticks, Madam Puddifoot's The Post Office, Gladrags Wizardwear and other shops. The walk continues across a style and on to Sirius's Cavern.
Leaving Sirius's Cavern in a North Westerly direction, Hogwarts Castle is visible to the left before the walk sweeps West into the Forbidden Forest. Here observant walkers may glimpse a Unicorn, Centaur or even the Grawp.
If time permits after leaving the forest, it is possible to visit Hogwarts Castle before passing the lake and returning to Hogsmeade Station.

I'm going on this one- anyone for Quidditch?
Brave man. But will your trusty GPS keep you on the right track…?
Does the train stop at Ealing Broadway?
Platform 9.75 is not easy to find at Kings Cross. You have to go all the way to the end of platform 9 and then use your powers of discernment. Return tickets to Hogsmead do not always go through the barriers at Kings Cross. If you have any problems, utter the magic words. ("Oi, mate, open the bleeding gates, innit?" may do the trick.)
Couldn't find the finer details of this walk in Book 3; then someone told me that the Saturday Walker known as St Thomas, you know, the stomach surgeon, had removed the appendix.....
Help! I am at Kins Cross and cannot find platform 9 3/4. No train to Hogsmead on the departure board either!
Don't worry, Glenfinnan Railways sometimes have trouble procuring coal.
I'm sure the SWC stretched Limo will be round shortly to pick up disappointed walkers and whisk them up to Hogsmeade.
